| DR. GORDON L. DIEWERT COMMUNITY SERVICE AWARD |
An award of $1,000 is given to an undergraduate student entering the University of Victoria directly from a BC Secondary School. The student must demonstrate that they took an active leadership role in their dry grad activities associated with the prevention of drinking and driving, and must provide a letter of reference from a school representative of their high school’s Dry Grad Committee outlining their participation and leadership in the planning and/or organization of the dry grad event or activities. |

A scholarship of $500 is awarded to a First Nations student who is a resident of British Columbia and who is entering the University of Victoria directly from a BC secondary school, college, or university. | ALEXANDER AND MARY MACKENZIE ENTRANCE SCHOLARSHIP |
Available to applicants from Canadian secondary schools involved in school or community anti-drug and alcohol programs. A scholarship is awarded annually to a student entering the first year at the University of Victoria who was involved in a secondary school or community anti-drug and alcohol program. A letter of recommendation from the program director must be included with the application for the scholarship. Selection of the recipient will be made by the Senate Committee on Awards upon the recommendation of Counselling Services. |

One or more scholarships are awarded to students entering the University of Victoria from public and private secondary schools in the Municipalities of Oak Bay and Saanich and who do volunteer work in the community.
Students from the following schools are eligible: Oak Bay High School, Mount Douglas Secondary, Lambrick Park Secondary, Reynolds Secondary, Spectrum Community School, Claremont Secondary School, St. Michael’s School, Pacific Christian School, St. Andrew’s Regional High School, St. Margaret’s School, Glenlyon Norfolk School and students from the South Island Distance Education School who are full-time students living in the Municipalities of Saanich or Oak Bay. |

| 25TH OLYMPIAD SCHOLARSHIP |
Awarded to a student entering UVic who has demonstrated excellence in extramural athletics while maintaining a high academic standing. Male or female students competing in: basketball, soccer, swimming, cross country running, middle distance running, rowing, men's rugby or women's field hockey are eligible to apply. Eligible students must meet all CIS eligibility requirements. Student must provide a coach's reference letter. Award recipients will be selected on the basis of work ethic, commitment and performance criteria by the Director of Athletics and Recreation in consultation with the Manager of Athletics |

| PROFESSIONAL EMPLOYEES ASSOCIATION (PEA) SCHOLARSHIP |
One or more scholarships are awarded to academically outstanding full or part-time undergraduate students entering or continuing at the University of Victoria with a GPA of at least 4.0 and who are UVic PEA members or their dependants. Applicants must complete the online application. Selection of the recipients will be made by the PEA ProD Committee. |

One or more scholarships of $1,000 each are awarded to undergraduate students in the Faculty of Engineering. Students must have a demonstrated interest and aptitude for engineering design through undergraduate course work or participation on teams and/or participation in high school science challenges, competitions and fairs. (First year students must submit a letter of recommendation from a high school science teacher, guidance counselor, principal or vice-principal.) Selection of the recipients will be made by the Faculty of Engineering. |
