The University of Victoria awards transfer scholarships to students who are coming directly from a Canadian college or university.

Who is eligible?
Candidates must be:
- Coming directly from a Canadian college or university
- Have been enrolled in full-time studies (12 units/8courses) during the previous academic year
- Have received an "A" average in the previous academic year
GPA Based Scholarships
To be considered for a GPA based UVic transfer scholarship you must provide a final copy of your post-secondary transcript to Student Awards & Financial Aid by June 1st. Transcripts sent after June 1st will not be considered for transfer scholarships.
GPA UVic Transfer Scholarships are awarded to students with high academic standing who are transferring directly to UVic from a Canadian college or university and have been in full-time studies (8 courses minimum) in the last academic year. Students need to have a high "A" average for consideration in their last two terms.
*If you are attending a Summer session, please have a final transcript sent to Student Awards & Financial Aid by September 15th.

Specific Criteria Scholarships
To be considered for scholarships based on specific criteria students must complete the online UVic post-secondary transfer scholarship application between February 02-May15th. Application required.
- Mail any required supporting documentation to Student Awards & Financial Aid (see address below) by May 15th. Please remember to include your UVic ID and the name of the scholarship on all submissions.
- *Please ensure a final transcript has been sent by June 1st.
How to apply for the UVic Transfer Scholarship Application
To access the application students need to:
- Have a NetLink ID (https://netlink.uvic.ca)
- Sign into your UVic My Page (www.uvic.ca - top right of page), using your UVic NetLink ID
- After signing in, click on the "My Page" link
- Click on left menu "Applicant Services", if you are not yet admitted to UVic, or Click on "Student Services", if you are an admitted student
- Select "View and apply for awards"
- Select the option dependent upon your current application status:
- Apply for Awards
- View and modify current award applications
- View the status of your awards
