The University of Victoria awards transfer scholarships to students who are coming directly from a Canadian college or university.

Transcripts sent to Undergraduate Admissions are not automatically forwarded to Student Awards & Financial Aid. It is the student's responsibility to ensure transcripts are sent to Student Awards & Financial Aid by the required deadline of March 31st.
Who is eligible?
Candidates must be:
- Coming directly from a Canadian college or university
- Have been enrolled in full-time academic studies (minimum 80% course-load - at UVic an 80% course load is 4 full-time courses per semester)) in any two terms during the previous academic year
- Have received a "A" average (7.80/9.0 UVic scale) in the previous academic year
*Students transferring to UVic from Camosun Nursing Program will have assessment based on their whole Nursing Program.
GPA Based Scholarships
September Entry Students:
Canadian college and university transfer students will need to send a final transcript to Student Awards and Financial Aid to be considered for a GPA based transfer scholarship. Transcripts must be received by July 15th.
**UVic does not offer Transfer scholarships for Summer Studies.
January Entry Students:
Transfer students entering in January, must have a final transcript received by Student Awards and Financial Aid by Febuary 15 to be considered for a GPA based transfer scholarship.
*Please note, students entering in January can also apply for the online transfer scholarship application, which opens February 01 to May 01. If awarded one of these scholarships funds will not be disbursed until the September semester.

Specific Criteria Scholarships
To be considered for scholarships based on specific criteria students must complete the online UVic post-secondary transfer scholarship application between February 01 - May 01st. Application required.
- Mail any required supporting documentation to Student Awards & Financial Aid (see address below) by May 01st. Please remember to include your UVic ID and the name of the scholarship on all submissions.
- *Please ensure a final transcript has been sent by June 1st.
How to apply for the UVic Transfer Scholarship Application
To access the application students need to:
- Have a NetLink ID (https://netlink.uvic.ca)
- Sign into your UVic My Page (www.uvic.ca - top right of page), using your UVic NetLink ID
- After signing in, click on the "My Page" link
- Click on left menu "Applicant Services", if you are not yet admitted to UVic, or Click on "Student Services", if you are an admitted student
- Select "View and apply for awards"
- Select the option dependent upon your current application status:
- Apply for Awards
- View and modify current award applications
- View the status of your awards
