The Certificate Program in Computer Based Information Systems (CBIS) provides an opportunity for managers, professionals, and specialists from non-computing disciplines to become educated users of computers. The CBIS Program focuses on understanding computer systems and achieving their maximum benefit in the workplace. Courses are updated continually to reflect advancing trends in the computing field. Graduates have reported advancing their existing careers or making successful career changes with their newly acquired skills. Many BC ministries accept completin of the CBIS Program as an entry qualification for systems analyst positions.
