How To Apply

UVic welcomes applications from Canadian and international students. New students must apply and receive confirmation of their admission to the University before registering in classes.

NOTE: Students who are not currently attending UVic but who had previously registered for courses (regardless of attendance) cannot use the online application process to return to UVic as undergraduates. Once registered, students who wish to return to undergraduate studies at UVic must apply to reregister using the Reregistration Application form available from the forms page.

  • Undergraduate Admission (except Faculty of Law - see link below)

    ·  Our online application service is the fastest way to apply for undergraduate admission.

    ·  You will be required to create or use an existing account to access the application pages.

    ·  Through this site you can apply to most post-secondary schools in BC.

    ·  Students from any country can use this service.

    ·  Please complete all required sections of the common application form before you click on the “Continue with Application” button on the Review page.

    ·  Upon completion of the ApplyBC common form, you will be transferred to UVic pages to create a web ID and password, select your start date, faculty, program, and to pay your application fee.

    ·  The application site uses secure servers. You can pay by American Express, MasterCard, or VISA.

    ·  After entering the payment information, read the confirmation and click on the link to return to the application menu to view your submitted form.
