Self-Reporting for current high school students

February 15 to March 31
The University of Victoria offers an exciting opportunity for current grade 12 students studying in any Canadian high school curriculum or completing an International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma. After submitting an application for admission and receiving a student number, your next step is to self-report your high school results and be considered for an early conditional offer of admission for September 2015 entry.

It's Simple!

Self-report your interim/final grade 11 and 12 marks or predicted IB scores and find out right away if you are admitted to many programs at UVic.

Self-reporting is now mandatory, but it's simple. It’s also the only way to get an early conditional admission offer -- and if you don't receive an early offer based on these grades, you can be considered for conditional admission again if you send us your official midterm transcript after April 15th. (BC and Ontario high school students will be automatically reconsidered when their electronic grades arrive in May.)

Steps to Reporting Your Grades

  1. Apply on-line no later than February 28th and within a few days you will receive an email confirmation with your UVic student number. After an initial review of your application, your admission assistant will send you a follow-up email providing information on how to log in and view your application checklist that includes a link for self-reporting your grades.
  2. Review the secondary school admission requirements for your province or the IB diploma. The required subjects and admission average (or total IB score) depends on which program you indicated when you applied.
  3. Login to your application and self-report your grades any time between February 15th and March 31st. Have your interim/final grade 11 and 12 marks or predicted IB grades ready. You can self-report only once, so be sure to wait until you know your midterm grades or feel you are best able to provide a good estimate of the final grades you will achieve.

To receive an early conditional offer, students must meet all subject requirements and the admission average for their program as indicated below:
