Self-Reporting for current high school students
Phase 2: February 1 to March 31
The University of Victoria offers an exciting opportunity for current grade 12 students studying in any Canadian high school curriculum or completing an International Baccalaureate diploma. After submitting an application for admission and receiving a student number, you can self-report your high school results and be considered for a conditional offer of admission for September 2012 entry.
It's Simple!
Self-report your interim/final grade 11 and 12 marks now and find out right away if you are admitted to most programs at UVic.
Self-reporting is simple. It’s also the quickest way to get an admission offer – and if you don’t receive an offer now, you will be considered for admission again if you send us your official midterm transcript after April 15th. (BC high school students will be automatically reconsidered when their Ministry of Education electronic grades arrive in mid-May.)
Steps to Reporting Your Grades
- Apply on-line for admission (if you have not already done so). Within a few days you will receive an email confirmation with your UVic student number. Then return to this page between February 1st and March 31st to self-report your marks.
- Review the secondary school admission requirements for your province or the IB diploma. The required subjects and average (or IB score) depends on which program you chose when you applied for admission.
- Access the self-reporting site to enter your grades. Have your interim/final grade 11 and 12 marks, UVic student number and a valid email address ready. (To ensure you receive our messages, be sure to add uvic.ca to your email's safe senders list.) BC students must also provide their PEN (Personal Education Number) when self reporting. Ask your school for this number if you don't already know it.
To receive a conditional offer during Phase 2 of self-reporting, students must meet all subject requirements for their program and have a minimum average as indicated below:
