Applicants who have successfully completed the International Baccalaureate Diploma requirements with a MINIMUM of 24 points will be considered for admission. The IB Diploma must include three subjects at the Higher Level and three subjects at the Standard Level. Diploma students may be eligible to receive up to 15 units of transfer credit at the first or second year level.
IB Diploma students and students who have completed Higher Level subjects without completing the full diploma are eligible for transfer credit. Each subject completed with a grade of 4 or higher (except Chemistry where the minimum grade is 5) at the Higher level may receive 3 units of credit. Please see The BC Transfer Guide for possible transfer credit.
Possession of the minimum requirements does not guarantee admission to any faculty, program or courses at the University. In those instances where the number of qualified applicants exceeds the number that can be accommodated, the admission cut-off will be higher than the minimum published requirements.
