Institutes of Technology (IOT)

Applicants who have completed one full year at an Insitute of Technology with a cumulative average of “A-“ are eligible for admission.*

Applicants who have completed in excess of one full year at an institute of technology with a minimum cumulative average of “B” are eligible for consideration.*

*Credit is determined on a course-by-course basis, but where block credit agreements have been established for specific diploma programs to transfer to specific UVic degree programs, credit may exceed the amounts indicated, but may not exceed a maximum of 30.0 units (i.e. 2 years).

Possession of the minimum requirements does not guarantee admission to any faculty, program or courses at the University. In those instances where the number of qualified applicants exceeds the number that can be accommodated, the admission cut-off will be higher than the minimum published requirements.
