Bader International Study Centre (BISC)
Formerly known as CUSAP, Canadian University International Study Abroad Program

The University of Victoria has joined Queen's University, the University of British Columbia, Dalhousie University, the University of Toronto, the University of Western Ontario, and McGill University to offer a program at the International Study Centre (ISC) located at Herstmonceux Castle in East Sussex, England. Please consult the ISC website for details about the program, including fees.

UVic students study abroad while receiving credit toward their UVic program. A first-year program is available so students may enter directly from secondary school. Upper-year students may choose from a number of interdisciplinary programs. The course offerings cover a wide range and include Fine Arts, Languages, Humanities, Social Sciences, Business and Law. Small classes encourage collaboration between students and their professors while interactions with the local community and continental field trips enrich the experience. If all that weren't enough, you live and work in a castle!

First-Year Program:
All prospective UVic students are eligible to apply, but the number of spaces is limited.

Applications for UVic and BISC must be received by February 1.

Student must self-report their Grade 12 marks via UVic's self-reporting website by February 15.

Should you be accepted for the BISC program, you will be notified of the offer in early March. Normally, you will receive a conditional offer of admission to UVic by early June. Offers are finalized upon receipt of final grades during the summer. PLEASE NOTE that if your offer of admission to UVic is withdrawn based on your final standing, your BISC offer will be cancelled automatically.
