CAPP (Curriculum Advising & Program Planning) is an electronic RDP (Record of Degree Program) which outlines the program requirements needed for degree completion and matches a student's course record against those requirements. The CAPP report, which is available from your academic advisor, displays the degree requirements that have been completed as well as those that are yet to be completed. Allocation of cross-listed courses and individual course/program substitutions and waivers will require manual intervention from an academic advisor.
Where do I get my CAPP report?
Students in the Faculties of Education, Humanities, Science and Social Sciences can obtain a copy of their CAPP report from their Faculty Advising centre, while students in other Faculties may obtain a copy from their academic advisor.
What are the components of a CAPP report?

What requirements need to be completed?
A CAPP report is divided into boxes. A "REQUIREMENT" that is still to be completed by the student is indicated on the report with the text 'Not Met' printed in the upper left hand corner of the box. Once this requirement is satisfied the 'Not Met' is replaced by 'Met'. If the student is registering in a course that will complete the requirement or could contribute to the requirement after it has been satisfied it will be displayed as 'Met IP' in the upper left hand corner of the requirement box. If there is a box on the report without the symbols 'Not Met', 'Met', or 'Met IP' in the upper left hand corner, the information provided in the box is for student/advisor information.
Example 1
To complete this requirement the student needs 1.5 units more of UVIC course work:
-------------------------------------------------------------------- Not REQUIRED: 30 UNITS OF UNIVERSITY COURSES
Met EARNED: 28.5 UNITS

Example 2
The University of Victoria English Requirement has not been satisfied. Consult the University Calendar on how to
